This was one of the last words of the Prophet (s). He (s) specifically commanded men of this ummah to treat their spouses and women with compassion and kindness. The theme of my last khutba at the New Brunswick Islamic Center was our relationship at home. Are we partners in building a healthy society or are we a burden on others? Few words to ponder over our relationship at home… You probably won’t find many khatibs speaking about this topic.
